Cryptocurrencies fall en masse as bitcoin falls below $40,000, ethereum falls through $3,000

Bitcoin fell below the $40,000 mark for the first time in nearly two weeks on Friday, now down to $39,700.

Led by Bitcoin's decline, cryptocurrencies fell en masse, with Ether falling through $3,000, Coinancoin down 8% to $423, Adacoin down 8.9% to $1.21, Solana down $121, XRP down $0.69, Terra down $76, Dogcoin down 7% to $0.15 and Shiba Inu down nearly 7%.
